New concepts

My concept for my cover will say basically the same but i will use it as my contents page picture instead, i will still have a person on a stage, but this time this time they wont be acting they'll be singing!

The cover will now consist of that same artist in a close up black and white shot looking directly at the camera with a nearly straight face, i want them to communicate to the camera purely through their eyes so the audience can feel the emotion, as most power ballads are mainly focused on emotional conflict or some form of emotion.

My new title will be 'Express' and in one of these fonts:

I've chosen number 2 for the title and the 4th one for subheadings, to give it a slightly more edgy look about it, but its still neat and clean cut.

Problems...

When going to do one of my textual analysis' today i realized that there weren't any magazines that had the feel of the cover I was going for, so after speaking to Karina we decided I needed to broaden my magazine genre to allow the magazine to be a little more 'music-y' and a little less 'theatre-y'.  So now im thinking of different ways in which i can do that.

I could broaden the magazine to all 'non-chart' music and incorporate other not so well known genres such as classical music and focus on mainly powerful songs such as ballads, which would include some opera music, and which could also include musical theatre. What I like about power ballads is that they are timeless,  therefore can be appreciated by many different types of people which is why I think people would appreciate the magazine.
